Bazooka Mobile Audio unveils new models of its famous tube subwoofers
January 1, 2004 – Southern Audio Services Inc. (SAS), manufacturer of the Bazooka® Mobile Audio line of tube subwoofers, speakers, and amplifiers, is introducing an entirely new family of tube subwoofers during this product’s 20 year anniversary.
With over 1,000,000 units sold since the introduction of the original tube subwoofer in 1984, the 2004 Bazooka Bass Tubes line of subwoofers is the 4th revision of this time proven and award winning patented subwoofer design.
The Elevated Listening and Reference Series tube subwoofers, which have been available since 1997, are going away. Replacing those two families is the new Bass Tubes (BT) line. With new aggressive cosmetics and lower pricing, the BT line delivers the performance that made the Bazooka tube subwoofer one of the best selling and most popular subwoofer designs ever created.
Available in 6”, 8”, and 10” sizes in both amplified and passive configurations, the new BT family of Bazooka subwoofers improves on an already proven design with a new woofer grill, new heatsink design, a new 3D logo, and an improved paint finish that resists chips and scratches.
The BT family of subwoofers will be available this spring alongside several other new products from Bazooka including the new P Miller series of amps, woofers, and coaxials endorsed by hip hop media mogul Master P.
