The Vista Acoustics Impedance Match Panel “VAP180”distributes one speaker level stereo signal to 8 stereo listening zones. The resistors mounted on the PC board ensure that the amplifier sees a minimum impedance load of 5 Ohms depending on how many zones have been configured.

It is not recommended to connect more than one pair of speakers to each speaker output zone on the VAP180. The PC board mounted input terminals “black”are rated at 30 amps and are capable of accepting up to 10 gauge speaker wire. The angled speaker output terminals “green”are rated to 15 amps and will accept up to 12 gauge speaker wire.

The white powder coated metal enclosure features a vented front panel which is easily removed by the supplied hardware. This enclosure also features multiple wire knockouts and protective grommets to allow the wiring to be accessed from the sides or the top of the cabinet. The enclosure also has alignment notches on all 4 corners to ensure proper mounting depth for both 1/2”and 5/8”drywall/sheetrock applications.
