Default MGW1214 ported box question

Have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma dbl.cab
My box is not yet built but is going to be wedge shaped. Dimensions are as follows according to truck specific measurements:

35"wide X 18 1/2" height
2 5/8" top depth and 7 1/8" bottom depth

Will I need to place a port in this size box? If so, where would the placement need to be in reference to where the sub is mounted? One last, what should the port diameter and length be?

Using a thickeness of .75 for the material the box should be constructed out of, you have an internal volume of 1.1123, making it the perfect volume for a sealed enclosure, but to small for a vented enclosure.
