Best option for an FJ Cruiser

Since the vehicle specific Bazooka is no longer available what would the next best sub be for an FJC? Has anyone had experience installing a BTA8100FHC or BTA850FH to the STOCK wiring harness in the rear of the vehicle? The harness that the factory sub is connected to. Are the FJ Cruiser mounting brackets from the discontinued model still available for purchase as replacement parts? Thanks for any info.

Upon further investigation I don't think the wiring harness from the discontinued model would work for this setup. The pins for the remote turn on and Hi Lev inputs don't line up the same. Splicing the two ends together wouldn't be that hard.

So, after more reading on the forums, I think I've found a solution. The wiring harness for the factory sub in the FJC has left & right Hi Lev connections, a 12v constant (20A), and a switched amp remote turn on lead. I guess my question is, can I use the FAST-9999 to tap into factory sub harness without having to run the FAST-BTAH all the way to the head unit? Everything I need is already right there where the BTA8100FHC is going to be installed.

I forgot to mention the Bazooka is obviously replacing the POS factory sub.
