Will it make the sound better. I have a boxy vw eurovan and my bass sucks big time. I have a sony cdx-gt54oui with rca plug for subwoofer with lpf that can be set to off 80, 100 120 140 and 160hz I just installed a bta6100 and set my sony lpf to 100hz and my speakers to start at 125hz. Suggestion ?
Thanks

It all depends. Keep in mind, 250hz is not a sub-bass frequency, it is a mid-bass frequency. As long as you have decent size speakers you should have no problem reproducing mid-bass. If bass is what you are after, it makes much more sense to keep the crossover point low, 80-100hz range, for the Tube.
