Old amplified Bazooka Tube wiring diagram
I have an old Bazooka tube that I can't figure out the wiring. I have spoken to tech suport at Bazooka Tube and even they haven't been able to help me. The wire colors are as follows, starting from the left, the red and black wires are seperate. There is one 8 pin conecter that has a blue,blue/white than yellow, red, green, orange and than a space and than black and brown. I would really appreciate any help on this.

well black should be ground, red should be power to the battery, orange to pwr antenna though im still asking questions on that one. Then the rest are for speakers - and +, the yellow and brown could be for hooking to vehicle acc meaning when the key is put in the right position signals the amp to turn on. Most hook to blue with white stipe i think with orange. Could be just cap those off y and b or connect them and cap not sure.

Shawn,
Wiring diagrams are available at the following link:

mondotto, if you need anymore information on the A-40 please post back. I have some literature on these early model amplified Tubes.

Re: Old amplified Bazooka Tube wiring diagram
I have the same issue with a tube I just bought. 6 pins on the left 2 on the right. Power and ground seperate from the pin connector. The wire harness is missing, and none of the diagrams on the site match?

Post a picture of the back of the Tube. I should be able to identify the model Tube you have.

Re: Old amplified Bazooka Tube wiring diagram
This should be the amp. Sorry we no longer carry that harness.
