Question RS8A-HP vs. BTA8250D

Hello,
I'm debating on getting the BTA8250D. Is there a noticeable difference between this and the tube I currently have the RS8A-HP from 2001? Or is it even worth considering?

I want to stick with the 8" amplified rather than the 10" b/c I mainly listen to rock and heavy metal (zero hip hop or rap). Plus I think the 10" might be too boomy and bass not as tight as the 8".

Thanks

I would not change it unless you are having problems with the RS8A-HP. There would be some difference but, not allot.
