BTA 6100 and JBL MS-8

Can anybody help me with my BTA 6100 installed using RCA cable to the JBL MS-8 on a 2011 ford fiesta head unit. Problem is why is the sub over powering my front and rear speakers after configuration the of the MS-8? My setting with the MS-8 crossover is 80hz @ 12db, please correct me if I'm wrong. What should I use 18db or 12db?

The automatic equalization of the MS-8 is most likely what you are not happy with. You can use the features of the unit and dial bass out of the unit with the MS-8, or if you are a bit overwhelmed with all of the eq octaves, try turning the gain of the Tube itself down.

Set the crossover slope at 18db.
