BTA 6100 Cutting out

Why would an amplified tube cut out after playing music for 30 minutes? Is this a thermal issue and would a fan stop this from happening?

Could be an issue with the gain setting. Turn the gain down slightly and see if this helps.

With the amplifier installed inside the Tube mounting a fan would do little to help, unless of course the fan was also installed inside of the Tube.
