Scion xB (VSE-SCI-145L-07) - Adding low level inputs?

Hi everyone,

I just picked up a new Scion xB specific 8" subwoofer ( VSE-SCI-145L-07 ). I wanted to know if I could use the ELA-HP/AWK harness (same as the BTA8100 100watt tube) with the low level RCA inputs on the Scion unit? I have an aftermarket deck w/ subwoofer level control in my car. I wanted to keep the factory look, using the Scion sub... Plus low level inputs provide a much cleaner signal.

The pinning looks the same but I'm not sure if the Scion unit's low level pins are active... The amplifier unit looks identical to the BTA8100 from the outside. I'm wondering if the Scion sub is actually a BTA8100 with a F.A.S.T harness and extension cable just packaged in a different enclosure?

Any suggestions anyone?

Yes the amp is the same as the one in the BTAxx100 series of tubes. You can use the ELA-HP-Awk harness or the FAST-9999 with the FAST-BTAH witch comes with line level inputs.
