MC-HD-AK4 in a 1999 Ultra Classic w/CB

Are physical space limitations the reason the unit does not work with the CB? I see in the instruction manual it says move the CB to the bottom of the radio. Is this for the newer bikes and not the 1999? Finally, why couldn't the amp be mounted in a remote location?

yes the reason to move the cb is to allow room for the amp and the reason for mounting in a remote location is our fast harness would be to short in lenth .

On the 1999 models, can the CB be moved under the radio and the amplifier used?

yes it can be the only radio's our unit DID NOT work with was the biult in CB relocate you cb under the radio and it should work just fine for you .
