help
i bought one of the bazooka party packs, 500w amp and 2 12" subs. and they only work when i rewire the subs to the amp (connect and disconnect) and the amp often goes on protect mode while im driving and i lose all my bass. the subs are pretty loud when they work, but they dont work too often ever since i put them in my new car.

Re: help
Be sure you have an good ground and power conections. An amp will not draw much amperage till it sees a load. I suspect a ground. Also check the wiring in the enclosure.

Re: help
The 93 - 02 F-body cars are real goofy about ground locations. Use a dmm and check for voltage drop. Just because it looks to be a great connection to the chassis, doesn't necessarily mean location is great. I've run into this with the same vehicles.

Re: help
Check the DCR (ohms) on the subs with a dmm. They should show 3.6ohms each.

Re: help
I'd shorten that ground wire...what is the voltage at the amp terminals relative to the voltage at the front battery??
