Don,
Thanks for your inquiry. We only sponsor complete audio systems with all Bazooka products, and really elaborate systems. You may want to check out Scion_Guy's car in the garage, as well as, the other Bazooka demo cars to get an idea of what I am talking about. If your system is on that scale, and you are willing to make it a complete Bazooka vehicle, then put some pictures of your car and the existing install in the Garage for us to evaluate.
Thanks,
KF

Re: dodge neon need 2 get it sponsored
That amp is super overrated.
I would suggest selling the amp and half the subs and get a real amp that does real power efficiently. Also better enclosure can get you higher numbers

Re: dodge neon need 2 get it sponsored
hi, aznboi3644 i'm going 2 get rid of that amp maybe different subs, but the enclosure I think is fine. What do u mean, as a different enclosure it is a spl slot port box. It is 30.25 cubicfoot an the port is 32"tall 8"wide an 7"deep tuned 2 about 30hz.

Re: dodge neon need 2 get it sponsored
SPL boxes are usually tuned a lot higher than 30Hz with lot's of port area

Re: dodge neon need 2 get it sponsored
True Aznboi. Donathion, I do not intend to disrespect, but as a seasoned competitor and former world champion builder I like to be helpful. I have built an enclosure for 4 8" that would consistently produce 153 - 155dB. This is below the window line in the cargo area measured legal "on the dash". This install would also score very well in SQ.
Too low of a tuning can and will negatively affect impedence rise. A 1000watt 1ohm amp isn't going to produce much @ 32+ohms. Dropping to even 6 subs and tuning somewhere between 40 - 46hz (maybe even 50hz) would improve your SPL score and lower your F3 to a comfortable point.
The four 8's were tuned at 44 or 45hz but would play below 25hz with no problem. Hey, your car looks cool. Nice work.

Re: dodge neon need 2 get it sponsored
indeed rain man....my last single 15 setup was 4.3 cu ft tuned to 40Hz but had no problem playing down to 30Hz...it is really all about the design of the enclosure

Absolutely, enclosure and vehicle resonance frequency. Donathion, what peak frequency are you playing? Have you run a resonance check on the Neon?
