Need Help with TA850

Okay, here's the deal...
I hooked up the TA850 to my head unit (Sony CDX-F7700), but I'm not getting any sound out of the Bazooka. Here's what I've done...

* Grounded the ground-wire to a bolt in the chassis.
* Ran the power-wire from the battery (as stated in the instructions, run directly from the positive terminal post of battery, not from a fuse point or anywhere else).
* Connected the subwoofer from the back of the head-unit (using the supplied pre-outs) to the Bazooka tube using a Scoche 17 foot RCA patch cable.
* I ensured the yellow quick-disconnect jumper loop was plugged in since I'm not using the remote turn on feature (I've also insulated the end of the orange wire).
* Inserted the fuse into the appropriate spot on the power wire

I turned on the power to my car and the radio was playing fine...all speakers were working (2 front 4x6 speakers and 2 rear 6x9 speakers) except for the Bazooka (nothing). I checked the settings on my head-unit and the Sub setting was turned on and showed that it should be getting something.

Any ideas??? Do I have to do anything to the yellow jumpre wire or the orange wire (since I'm not using remote turn on)?

You should use the orange wire.

Disconnect the yellow loop.

Again, as the manual states, the auto turn on is the least preferred method, because it doesn't work sometimes.

I think this thing is defective...I'll probably have to return it and get something else. I disconnected the yellow loop and connected the orange wire to my head-unit's REMOTE AMP line (Sony CDX-F7700 bluew with white stripe), but still I have no sound. I double checked the fuse (it's good) and all other connections and they seem fine...any other suggestions???

Nevermind, I've got it working. It was a bad ground. I changed my ground to one that was free of paint and grime and now it's working fine.
