Default High or Low Level Inputs - EL8A

I have an Alpine 9827 receiver that has subwoofer outputs. The specs. are 4V/10K ohms. I assume this is a low level output and should be connected to the low level inputs of the Bazooka?

In your manual you advise to use the high level inputs even if I have the low level outputs. What difference will this make?

Are the high level the direct speaker outputs from the receiver (I am not using an external amplifier) and if so would I wire the Bazooka inputs in parallel with the other speakers?

Thanks.

Reagrds,

Richard
