Default Hooking up a tube to SUV

Hello all. I am new to the forum and need some help picking out a decent setup for my ride. I have a Ford Explorer 2002, 4 door SUV. I have been looking at getting one BTA10200 amplified bass tube to add to my factory system. I would probably mount the tube in the back. I guess what I was wondering is if I hook up a tube, is there anything that I need to be concerned about regarding my car battery, alternator, all that stuff. I appreciate the help in advance.

No. The Bazooka's efficient design means that the system draws very little from your electrical system--about the same amount of current as your dome light. Your car will be fine with the additional draw.

Cool d-rock. Hey I am going to buy a BTA10200, but I saw on the web some generic crap that blew my mind. http://www.a1discountcaraudio.com/vi...idProduct=1867

What would be the difference between this and the bazooka, the electrical design?

How about everything. That tube is not designed to sound good. It is just a 12 inch sub in a tube enclosure. It is not designed to be efficient like Bazooka tubes, and probably wouldn't sound half as good as the amped 10. Anybody can build a tube enclosure, but only Bazooka has made a business out of it for 20 years.
