Default should i get a crossover??

do i need a subwoofer crossover?? will it do me any good because it as a remote and a bigger bass boost

Well, a crossover will always do you good. Doesn't your amp already have at least a built-in low-pass crossover? Break it down, what kind of system are you working with here?

my amps are 4 el1500 powering 4 punch hx2 12's. yes the amp dose have the bass boost and the lowe pass.but i have been told that get a lowpass crossover the sound will be deeper and louder because the amp is not having to work as hard. but what i am having troubls is that my subs are not hetting the low note like they should. so the guy hooked a crossover and man did it do the job

So your problem is already solved then, right? You already got the crossover? I see what you mean, though. What you're saying is that the amp's existing crossover doesn't allow the lower frequencies to pass that your sub is trying to pull, right? <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> In that situation, yeah, I could see how a new crossover would help immensely.
