Default Popping sound when powering up sub

Hi guys,

Every time I power up my sub, I get this unpleasant "pop" sound; once when I turn the key to the ACC/ON position, and once after cranking the engine over (as it powers all the electronics off and on again).

I'm using the F.A.S.T. harness for the BTA10100 sub. My power and power accessory wire are both spliced into the aftermarket stereo's power wire, which is hot when the key is in the ACC or ON position. The ground wire for the sub is grounded to a seatbelt bolt on the frame. Remote turn-on loop is removed. Using low level RCA's for signal input. High level signal wires are not in use.

Any ideas how to fix this issue? I'm worried the current surge or whatever is causing the popping sound will damage the sub over time.
