Bazooka BTA10250D 1-Way 10" Car Subwoofer stops working intermittantly

I have 2006 ford fusion SEL (8 speaker premium factory system). I installed (professionally done at car toys) a brand new Bazooka BTA10250D 1-Way 10" Car Subwoofer and it worked great initially. However sometimes when the car is shut off and turned back on my factory rear speakers and sub quit working. If I leave the power on and unplug the sub’s Molex connector and plug it back in again, everything works fine, until the next time (not always every time) I shut the power off (key ignition). Then it won’t work the factory rear speakers won’t work until i unplug and re-plug in the Molex connector on the sub. I sent the original sub back to the company I bought it form and they sent me a brand new one. Guess what it seems to do the same thing. Any advice for me?

Take it back to the shop that did the install and have them install a high to low level converter. You are experiencing an impedance issue. Ideally, this is the converter (or type) you are going to want installed.
