Thanks for all your help..I did exactly what you said and it works. I was super relieved to see that green LED.

One last question, I'm on the low output right now with the RCAs..when i upgrade to a better receiver... (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Xplod-CDX...7158404&sr=1-1)

do I have to switch to high output? I plan on upgrading my speakers too..would I have to worry about those other wires on the subwoofer? or do the new speakers im buying just go straight to the receiver. I am only running fronts and backs. Thanks.

Audio installs can be a bit tricky at times, but rest assured, everyone has to start somewhere. Again, the Bazooka Forum allows the Forum Members to assist new Car Audio enthusiasts and most importantly, Bazooka customers, so again, I am glad that I could help.

Your Tube will operate best using the High Level Inputs versus the Low Level Inputs. When you switch to the High Level Inputs, be sure to use the front speakers as your source. You are just tapping into these speakers to get a signal, not power the Tube so it will not affect the performance of your other speakers or headunit. It also allows maximum voltage to the Tube, allowing the amplifer to be driven to full power with the lowest distortion. You will get the best performance out of the Tube using this method. You will want to tap into the front speakers so if you decide to use the fader to help with your front soundstage, you will not be reducing the signal to the Tube in the process.

As for your new front and rear speakers, these will be wired from your new headunit and not from the Tube. To make the installation easier you can purchase adapters that allows you to connect your aftermarker receiver into your factory harness at the headunit and also at the speakers.
