Thanks for all your help..I did exactly what you said and it works. I was super relieved to see that green LED.

One last question, I'm on the low output right now with the RCAs..when i upgrade to a better receiver... (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Xplod-CDX...7158404&sr=1-1)

do I have to switch to high output? I plan on upgrading my speakers too..would I have to worry about those other wires on the subwoofer? or do the new speakers im buying just go straight to the receiver. I am only running fronts and backs. Thanks.
