LIne Out Converters

I need to convert my pre sub RCA to the High level inputs with a converter. The line out converts I've seen show the out put on the converts on the RCA side. Can I reverse the signal?

No.

That would be an amplifier... or at least a line driver.

Out of curiousity, why would you need (or want) to do this?

I reviewed some of you previous forum Q & A. I'll give you the whole
enchilada.

I have a Sony CDX F7715x with a sub-out mono at 4 volts, I read that the EL 8a would only take 2.5 volts max. And that I needed to run the rca plugs to the High Side of sub. If true ,I read that you need to use a line out converter to change the rca to wire? If true do, which high side wires do I run it to.

My original problem was a bump when changing soures,cd to radio and stations changes. I redid ground no help, I also read that if you have different size of wire for power and ground this could cause bump?

My problem I think is I am making too many assumptions??????????

So heres another, If the 4 volts is true on low side, this may be causing bump.

Anyway, I'd use the high level outputs of that Sony Radio, unless you want to use the sub control in the head unit.

In that case, what you need is an "Adjustable Ground Loop Isoloater" It has RCA in and RCA out, and level controls on it...

Search for one made by PIE, or AAMP.
