OK, I have a strange application. I have the scion pioneer t1808 head unit with the amplified xb sub as mentioned. However, they are installed in an MR2 Spyder. I didn't realize how large the enclosure was on the 8" sub so I need to go with a smaller enclosure. I want to retain the 100w amp from the xb sub and drive a smaller sealed box that will fit behind the seat (not a lot of room in the spyders, but probably up to .5 or more cubic ft. internal available. Will the elw1014.2 be a better choice than the elw8014 since the sensitivity is considerably higher?
