Welcome to the Bazooka Forum. The double sided tape will definitely hold, it seems the longer it is on the stronger the bond. Just make sure you properly prep the surface before you attach. Any dirt, dust or oil will prevent proper bonding. Use the Velcro provided with the kit to mount the amp to the radio.
