County Road.. I think it was at one time but MANY years of that stream deciding to route itself along it has caused what was a dirt path through the woods to be turned into a nice rock bottom stream bed. I've got some TOPO maps that show it as a road as well.
I think it's one of those rare occasions where what man has built, nature has destroyed and it turned out to be a good thing.
It is however on TVA (Tenneessee Valley Authority) land and they police it pretty well and limit all travel to licensed vehicles.. No ATVs or Dirt Bikes (without tags) allowed.
