Are the new versions of the tubbies really 3X louder. I may need to swap out a pair. While wakeboarding 70' behind the boat those 4 speakers are not loud enough. Driven with 2 X 300 watts RMS. I know the MT8252WS are rated at 4 ohms but with these spakers in
parallel they make the amp way to hot. Any input ? I would like to post great reviews on the Yamaha jet boaters forum but I am trying to figure out what is going on with the amp heating up. In the past I have run a 500W RMS DVC sub with no problem on the same amp. The voltage is 13V - 12.4V
