Star Auto Electric built all my daily and competition alternators. I never suffered a single failure. I ran the same alternator from a vehicle I built in 01 on the vehicle we won the championship with in 02. It charged 12 batteries in 01 (18v) and 8 batteries in 02. We had new bearings and brushes put in before finals in 02. Turns out that it didn't need either; But it was worth $30.00 to be sure.
