i hired a guy to come out. $40 bucks but it took him about 5 minutes. He shortened the harness, not sure what else he did but it works now!

hired a guy off of craigslist, he had it going in 10 minutes. not sure what i did wrong but i am good to go now.

subwoofer leads are connected. did this thing somehow just conk out since last week when i unplugged it from my old boat? sold the other boat so i have to way to test if it works

i hooked both up to the red and i have voltage at the end of the extension, but no power to sub yet. i need to open up the tube and check connection

what type of level should i be getting on the voltmeter, and what setting should i use? 2 amp, 20 amp etc? dc or ac?
