My reason for selecting a sealed enclosure was because of the smoother roll off. With a sealed I am not limited to the tuning freq. of the port. I'll let you know how it turns out.

They say .56 cuft for sealed, but I think it would sound better in a larger enclosure, say 1 cuft. The ported is 1.4 cu ft. Your choice.

I take it you are refurring to speaker outputs (high level). If this is the case, the amp converts this to a low level (pre amp)input. It is always better to use the pre amp outputs on your receiver....

Why not wire the coils in series, creating a 8ohm load, then wire the subs in parallel. This would give you a 4ohm load for your amp. I doubt if you would hear any differance. Also it is less strain...
