Re: BTA8100 Assistance Needed

The benefit is that you are connecting to a verified, switched +12v source. As for blown fuses, nothing to worry about. The switched remote circuit is measured in milli-amps. As long as you have...

Re: BTA8100 Assistance Needed

I should also add, disconnect your connections at the headunit, and make them at the output terminals of the amplifier. Disconnect the Auto-Turn On Loop, and connect to the remote terminal of the...

Re: BTA8100 Assistance Needed

Answer to question 1.) No, due to the size of the front speakers. Ideally, a 4x6 speaker is tuned to limit any bass frequency it cannot reproduce, which causes distortion. No bass information...

Re: C5 Corvette

It is a bit more complicated, but very possible. In this install, due to the unique voltage of the Bose System, the RCA's of the harness, either the FAST System, or the harness with a BTAXX100, will...

Re: Wire Gauge??

I have no idea, as you are using a Pyle component. I have no information on the unit. However, the owner's manual of the Pyle, should have an appropriate wire size to use.

Re: Distorted/Muffled Base HELP

Several things. The first being, where in the fuse box are you located? The second, finding out where the remote turn-on is attached? It is critical that these answers are discovered. And...

Re: Tube location

As long as the Tube is corner loaded, and there is a vent, it will sound amazing. You will be very pleased with the performance.

A word of caution, before you start cutting holes, see how the...

Re: Wire Gauge??

That would be largely dependent on power output, as well as total length.

Re: Wire Gauge??

That will be dependent on what model Tube you decide to use. As for the second question, are you referring to the wire that you will be using from the amplifier to the speaker?

Re: Stock 2004 Toyota Matrix Stereo

No, the factory single, 6 disc changer, or JBL system, have no RCA outputs. You will need to identify the correct wires and use the front speakers for your signal connection.

Have you identified the factory harness? If so, can you list the color of the wires in the harness?

Re: Any idea why ?

The RS Series ouptut was 80 watts (120 watts when paired with a slave unit), and the RSA-hp was 150 watts.

On to your original question, one, there is the difference in woofer size. Two, the...

Re: Distorted/Muffled Base HELP

That sounds like an ignition issue, especially due to the fact that it happens when the car is off. What type of vehicle is the Tube installed in, as well as any modifications, specifically with...

Re: 100W Amp/tube staying on

The remote turn-on wire needs to be relocated to a switched +12v source. If Best Buy did the install, then Best Buy will and should fix this at no cost. If there is no switched +12v source, for...

Re: BTA850FH install ??

Take a look at your ground connection. If the ground is not adequate, you will pick up a transient thump. If ground checks out, move to your connections, and make sure the RCA's are fully inserted.

Re: Can you identify this model?

Purchase a FAST-9999 and FAST-BTAH. Everything will connect to the factory headunit and you will be up and rolling. Make a proper ground, mount the Tube, and enjoy those beats.

Re: help with install?

Nope. The only time the fuse will blow is when there is a problem, such as direct short to ground, indicating something is seriously wrong.

Relax and enjoy those lows.

Re: help with install?

No. It will not fry your headunit. Your headunit is not powering the Tube, period. All you have done is connected to a power source, just like plugging a cord into a wall outlet. It really is...

Re: bta10250d installation process?

There is nothing interchangeable between the two lines. The BTAXX50/100 series are the only ones that can be used with the FAST Harness System.

Google 2008 Ford Escape headunit removal and you...
