Re: Advice for 2016 Toyota Camry

Absolutely. It relates to physics, an object in motion tends to stay in motion. Which is why smaller drivers are usually, not always, but usually much more accurate in sound reproduction, less mass...

Re: No Keyed 12V Source...

The old Benz, they are quiet because they are built to be. Look for a place to make an opening to vent into the cabin under the parcel shelf.

Re: Bazooka BTA850FH Install Issue

Take a look at your ground connection, it sounds as if this is inadequate.

Are you connecting to the factory head unit? If so, where is the remote turn-on lead connected? If you are not using...

Re: Advice for 2016 Toyota Camry

Stick with a 10" Tube, use a 35Hz sub-sonic filter, and opt for the DVC 8 ohm Tube (to get a final impedance of 4 ohms) or a SVC 4 ohm Tube. Properly mount the Tube as instructed, and slide the Tube...

Re: No Keyed 12V Source...

Ah, the old Becker, I have yet to find any unit that has better radio reception.

On to your question, no, there will be no current draw. The Auto Turn-On Loop exists for applications like yours,...

Re: Need help

Pictures would be helpful, however, look for a 200-250 watt mono amplifier @ a 4 ohm mono load. A subsonic filter would be a bonus.

Re: green light stays on

No, it is not normal. Are you using the AutoTurn-On Loop, or, is the remote wire connected?

Will it drain the battery, most likely, no. The LED draws a relatively low amperage, like milliamp...

Re: Tweeters

To begin with, the green and grey wires you are referring to are High Level INPUT signal wires, so these have zero power output. Second, you cannot power anything off of the Tube, zero, zip, nada. ...

Re: Installing tube in covered well 2010 Rav4

If it meets the requirements of corner loading, it will be a good place for an install. Now, on to the question of airflow, if there is restricted airflow, bass output will suffer due to standing...

Re: FAST-9999 Installaton Instructions

If you want to keep the optional Auto-Turn On Loop attached, which will trigger the Tube to turn on when music is present, the Blue-White wire of the FAST-9999 must be left disconnected.

Re: FAST-9999 Installaton Instructions

No, the green LED is not supposed to be on all the time. When the green LED is illuminated, it indicates that there is power at the amp. It is best to find a switched +12v source for the blue-white...

Re: BTA6100 Help

Re: A-40 Tube - HELP

It should work out, most of the time pin size is universal. You may not have a locking harness, but you can always find a way around that.

Re: A-40 Tube - HELP

Yes, you are correct, so you will have to connect directly to the pins, either by soldering wires one at a time, or, using a 16-22 AWG connector.

As for the missing pin, that is the negative pin...

Re: Marine MA475D Power Cable

At 3 feet long and a maximum draw of 40 amps, you will be fine with an 8 gauge or a 4 gauge. It is always a good idea to fuse the power cable from the power source. The in-line fuse is for any...

As for the mounting, use the...
