i've always used screws to hold by box together, but i seal it with A LOT of glue to make sure it is distributed within the leaky areas. So far no problem!

if u get passive, you'll need to run a separate amp. If you get active, all u need to do is hook up the power wire, ground wire, etc and...

the problem is that he is under-aged to almost all shops. Many will require you to be at least 16 or so because they do not want to deal with a lot of troubles.
