If you know how and what you are doing, of course you can use a test tone. Any tone between 40-60 hertz will be fine, ideally, using them both. The test tone stays flat, no eq or bass boost.

You got it. Calculate total amperage draw and just make sure you purchase the appropriate relay. Let me know if you need a schematic for the relay.

If you are using the Remote turn-On Loop, the orange remote wire of the Tube should not be connected and vice versa (the orange remote wire of the Tube connected, disconnect the Remote Turn-On Loop)....

Piggy back off of the power, remote and ground connections on the amplifer. Connect the High Level Inputs of the Tube to the speaker terminals on your amplifier.

No, not misleading or misunderstanding. There are certain factory systems that develop an impedance issue when connecting using the FAST System. Installing an LOC solves this dilemma.

Connect both the red wire and the orange wire of the FAST harness to the switched +12v wire of the factory harness. Make the signal connections using the High Level Inputs of the FAST Harness.
