Tube location

I am looking at a new boat and wondering where to put a sub. My old boat had two 10"s, one under the front bow filler cushion and one under the back seat. The new boat doesn't have as many areas to install. The driver's console looks to have plenty of room inside for a 10" tube but I am wondering how the sound will be because it is enclosed in fiberglass. There is a removable kick panel that can be opened or maybe a vent hole cut into it. How do you think it would sound and what would be the best option?

As long as the Tube is corner loaded, and there is a vent, it will sound amazing. You will be very pleased with the performance.

A word of caution, before you start cutting holes, see how the Tube sounds first. Then modify, if needed.

When I get the boat I will try different locations and see what works best. I don't really want to go cutting up a brand new boat! Thanks.
