New Member Question: BTA8100

Hi. I have a BTA8100 amplified tube that I bought a while ago (might have been a store returned item so the history is questionable) that has until recently been stored in my basement until I decided to put it in one of my cars. I'm satisfied that it is connected correctly but the unit doesn't work. I was wondering if there are schematics available for these and testing procedures? I have a hand-held o-scope and a signal generator. Otherwise, I'm not sure what to do with it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Schematics for products that are currently in production are not given out. That does not mean that you are out of luck though, give Technical Support a call at 1-800-THE-TUBE.

I did send a note to Bazooka customer service after I posted this. They had tech support send me a note. It is understandable that they didn't want to give me schematics - it dawned on me after I sent it that it is "intellectual property". Anyway, I sent a response asking for just test parameters but no response to date. I may end up using my other tube as a means of determining but I'm a little worried that I could fry it inadvertently. Thanks for the response though!:)
