BTA6250D Won't Power Up
 
I received a BTA6250D for Christmas and finally for around to installing it today in my 2007 Honda Ridgeline with OEM head-unit. I ran all the wiring and can't seem to get it to turn on - no LED, no thump, nothing. I checked 12v power, which was fine. I checked the remote turn-on and get 4v switched. I also ran a voltage drop test on the ground, which came back fine as well. Any ideas what to try next, or do I have a defective unit?

Where do you have the constant +12v connected?

The orange remote wire should be connected to a switched +12v source.

Measure resistance at your ground, this should read zero.
