can I cover the tube?

does anyone know, with the powered subs like BTA10100FHC , can I wrap the enclosure in fabric or put stickers on it? In my case, the tube will be visible through the windows, and I want to make it look like something less theft-worthy. Will that degrade sound or cause a fire hazard around the amp part?

many thanks, and apologies if this has been answered before--I did try searching

You can absolutely cover the Tube. The sound or integrity of the Tube will not be sacrificed. Just don't drill any holes into the enclosure.
