New to Forum
I'm new to the forum. I've installed the MC-HD-AMK in my 09 Street Glide and it is great! My only issue is the continuous draw on the battery by the amp even when it is off. Is there a bypass switch that I can disconnect the power completely to the amp when I turn the bike off? Kuryakyn has a double rocker switch that will fit in one of the vacant rocker switch consoles, but I'm not quite sure how I would splice it into the wiring for the amp. Suggestions?

Re: New to Forum
Thank you. I talked with Harley and they have the accessory switch on the fairing that supports a 15-A deutsch connector. Just so I'm clear, I would snip the red power wire that goes directly to the battery, take a male deutsch connector kit and secure that wire in it, then plug it into the femail deutsch accessory harness? Should I wire the fuse in as well before the amp? Do I need to connect anything to the battery? Reason I ask is that the Hawg Wired amp has a separate automatic off wire that connects to the cigarette lighter and comes on when the ignition is turned on. Thanks in advance. Michael

I'll post pics of this and final product when I'm done.
