Repair for a TA850?

Hi there. I bought a used 850 a few months ago and it's working only inconsistently. It cuts in and out, basically--sometimes I have to turn it up to make it cut in, then it'll still drop out.

Anyways, can I send it to you for repair or is this something that your basic car audio installer could handle? Do you have local service centers or some such?

I love it when it's on and you guys seem to have great service. THanks.,

Welcome to the Bazooka Forum David. You can send the Tube in for repair, call 1-800-THE-TUBE and anyone in Customer Service can help you with this. Before you do that, let's try some troubleshooting. How do you have the Tube wired to turn on, the Auto-Turn On Loop or a dedicated remote wire?

Hey, thanks for getting back to me. I use the auto-turn on loop. Any ideas?

Disconnect the Auto-Turn On Loop and connect the Orange Remote Wire and the Red +12V wire. This will test to see if the problem lies within the Auto-Turn On cicuit.
