Re: Off Road you say..???
Just need some stainless steel wire to stitch it up first..
One of the guys with me came walking up with his plug kit when he heard over the radio I had a flat.. Then he saw the hole.. At the rate I'm going finding a new spare, I might have to resort to the stainless wire thing.. (seriously it works in a pinch). You can buy 4 new tires for cheap, but when you just need one they wanna hammer you for full retail.. $900 for 4 or $275 for one..!!! |
Re: Off Road you say..???

Re: Off Road you say..???
Wow, that is a serious flat! I have been waiting to hear and see some "off road" tales as they relate to our products...Glad to see the 10200 and the ICE CHEST faired well. At least you could enjoy a few tunes and "road pops" while waiting on the calvary. :)36
Thanks for participating in this thread KF |

Looks like a fun trail for a dirt bike. Can't believe the GPS called it a country road :)

I think it's one of those rare occasions where what man has built, nature has destroyed and it turned out to be a good thing. It is however on TVA (Tenneessee Valley Authority) land and they police it pretty well and limit all travel to licensed vehicles.. No ATVs or Dirt Bikes (without tags) allowed. |
Re: Off Road you say..???
It's a county road, alright. It "county" how many tires have fallen victim.:D

Re: Off Road you say..???
Any leeches in that water? And now on to your tire, would you mind telling me how in the world you can stitch the sidewall? Do you have to put a can of Green Slime in the tire to help it seal? I only ask as I have never seen anything like that before. How about an after shot of the repair before you go and buy a new tire? Come to think of it, your not a surgeon are you?
