Bazooka Certified Auctions
 

First post here but I have A question but before I ask my question here is what led to me logging on here to ask this. I was looking on ebay and saw some bazooka certified auctions. I assume that is SAS posting the items for sale (hoping it's bazooka). I was asking at getting A price on A set of RX6S RX Series 6.5 2 Way Component Speakers for my truck shipped to me in hawaii (as required in the auction). The reply I got was
I sent A reply back asking why can't this item be shipped to hawaii and never got any reply.

Now my question, Why can't the seperates be shipped to hawaii?

I work in the heavy machinery industry and I have alot worse/heavy items than door speakers shipped fed ex overnight or UPS 2nd day air. I just can't see why or any good reason why the speakers can't be shipped to me in hawaii.

They are a 3rd party reseller that Bazooka/SAS has authorized to sell their discontinued models. It is all NEW product at exceptionally good prices. Note the Powered by Channel Velocity tag on the auctions. They have other branded stores that they manage.

The reason they don't/won't ship to HI is probably due to at least 2 things.
#1- UPS treats HI & AK as "overseas" shipment and charges outrageous fees for HI & AK.
#2- With eBay's new rules and policies that punish sellers for anything other than a perfect transaction, they don't want to take a chance on recieving a negative or neutral feedback, or have their DSR's (detailed seller ratings) dinged, for S&H costs.

One other possible reason. You left a negative for a seller because of shipping costs.
With eBay's new seller policies, you might find your bids being cancelled by some sellers, or find that you've been blocked from bidding on some sellers auctions..

I have lived in Hawaii since 1983 and know more than well enough about the high cost to have items shipped here so that is nothing new to me. I should have gotten quoted A shipping cost first and let me decide if I want the item or not.

And I think ebay's new policy for sellers is A load of garbage. Very unfare to sellers.

You can always contact Bazooka direct and we should be able to provide you a quote for shipping to Hawaii. If you are willing to pay the high shipping costs, then it would be no problem to ship to you. You will need to provide a zip code and model that you are interested in ordering.

I am more than interested but I assume I would pay the suggested retail price listed on the website for the items. Just the certified auctions on ebay have some really great pricing and if I bought them through there I could assemble my entire system, minus the cd player, for under $800 shipped! (took into account shipping to hawaii chigher cost)

Let me know the models you are interested in and I will quote you prices with shipping etc. I can provide you with other authorized online retailers that may be able to assist you in the models you are looking for. I can at least give you ball park freight estimates.
