Problem
 
BTA10100
I have 2 of these subwoofers

I have not had any luck with them, the first one i had to replace a harness for 15$ which is ehh, not a big deal. Now they both just decide when they would like to shut off while im listening to music.
I know for a FACT the power is fine, because my 800 watt amp for my speakers is not turning off nor is my deck and nothing dims.

Are there any suggestions i mean if not this was a complete waste of my money and i havent been satisfied.

My dad uses a BTA8100 and his is Perfect but my 2 woofers are crap for some reason there almost 6 months old id say

one will kick back in and the other turns off then there both on then off then the other randomly turns on, i think its the plug in spot, i dunno im just frustrated wasted a LOT of money on these, i do enjoy the crisp clean sound but i want to enjoy it all the time

A bad connection wouldn't cause another component with a good connection to dim or shut off. Be sure all connections are secure as well as the tubes themselves. Be sure the connections aren't strained (plenty of "slack" in the wiring).:)47

ehh i guess ill have to check wednesday when im off from work, it just sucks that it shuts off on me

I'm sorry you are having problems with your speakers. You mentioned that they are only 6 months old. If you would like to send them in for us to take a look at them, we can issue a return authorization number for you. If you can provide a copy of the purchase receipt showing they are less than a year old, we can cover the repair under warranty for you. All you need to do is contact customer service at (800) 843-8823 with your model and serial number and they can issue you an RA number.
