Bazooka tube on a bike?
 

I have a motorcycletunes audio system installed but need more bass. Would it be possible to connect this type of system to an onboard Bazooka tube? I have a 52 litre Givi Maxia topbox to house it....

What would you suggest?

I haven't tried it, but back in the day I built a band-pass enclosure for 1 10" sub for a Goldwing. It was coated with resin and painted to match the bike. He run a Punch 45 on it(that should give you an idea of how long ago it was). I thought it got off pretty dang good.:)

I installed a BTA6100 and a BTA8100 on a goldwing I also molded 2 6" subs on a FLHX that give the bike a killer sound as well what king of bike are we talking about ?

I have an '07 'Wing and want to know if you install the BTA6100 in the trunk, do you need to drill any "ports" for the sound to escape? Does the sound transfer from the trunk when it's shut?

Vibrator yes you can add a tube to your system you can add a BTA6100 which will give you tons of bass and you need to drill a 3 inch hole in the plastic panel that covers you trunk lock assembly we have a grill that covers the hole back up I will load some pictures of the trunks we have done to show you how the install looks and thank you for looking at our products !

Do you have the pics of the install on the '07 Goldwing? I'm just about ready to purchase a complete system and I want to see what is needed. Also, does the Bazooka amp bolt up in the same location as the stock amp? I don't want to use any more space in the trunk since the sub will be in there.

Montoya, I haven't installed a Bass Tube on a 07 Wing does your bike have the factory upgrade system on it now ? if so you should be able to add a Bass tube you'll need to pick the signal from the rear speakers let me know if I can help you with getting you some bass on your Wing

I do have the factory premium audio package. I wanted to see if the amp with the Bazooka system fit in the stock location. I know '05 and older "wings didn't have the rear speakers, so I would assume they didn't have an amp either. The stock location of the amp for the '06 and newer 'wings is right behind the rear fender.

I'm in a holding pattern right now because Bazooka demanded that the site I was trying to buy the system from stop selling it. Another person I know ordered the system and when I called to order it, the rep said Bazooka told them to stop selling it, more than likely because the price was too low. If this is the case, I am very disappointed in Bazooka for doing this. If this situation resolves itself, I'll get back to you about installing this system. Thanks for your help so far.
