Please allow me to introduce myself.

Hello,
I am Jon, Founder, President, and CEO of SAS. I have decided to venture out into "internet" land to learn more about you, our customers, and what you expect from our company and products. I hope that you all (or y'all as we say down here) will allow me the opportunity to get to know you better, as well as, get to know me and our SAS family better. We truly do stirve to provide you with quality, affordable products, and with your feedback we can continue to do so well into the future.

Please understand that I do travel quite often, so please be patient with me in responding to your posts. If this works out, then I may simply create a blog that better allows me to communitcate with you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Jon

I'd like to see:

1.
Consistent posted/published amplifier specs. Look at the specs on the webpage for the MGA amplifiers.
http://www.bazooka.com/productAutoAm...sMG.asp?id=327 (MGA1300)
http://www.bazooka.com/productAutoAm...sMG.asp?id=329 (MGA1800)
http://www.bazooka.com/productAutoAm...sMG.asp?id=335 (MGA11000H)
http://www.bazooka.com/productAutoAm...sMG.asp?id=336 (MGA11500H)

Now look at the specs in the online manual (and I would imagine the printed manual as well) for the MGA amplifiers.

2.
Better support for older/discontinued SAS equipment (archived online manuals/specs). You have online support (manuals/specs) for the ELA series amps, but nothing for the RS series amps (which are a lot "newer")? Nothing for the older EL series subs, or any of the RS series subs (except the RSW series).

3.
A little more employee involvement on the forums.

GH,
Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I agree that the specs on the website and printed materials should be more consistent, and that is something on which we are working to improve. I will look into getting more of the legacy product manuals uploaded, but just as an FYI, the input circuit and wiring connections on the RSA is identical to the BTA??200 products, and the ELA is the same as the BTA??100 products. So as a temporary solution users can use those respective manuals for reference.

Regarding employee involvement, well, you've got me now! :)

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate your involvement.

Absolutely, GH. Also, it would be nice to see Bazooka "leading the pack" in ultra high end equipment (not to say what we have isn't good). I mean true high end, Audiophile level, "you do get what you pay for", product line. As broke as I am, I have paid $650.00 + for a 50 watt amp, because I knew it was of the highest quality and "BUILT IN THE USA". These people still exist. They have all but abandoned the hopes of finding a company that still will produce. Out sourcing has put the industry in chaotic standby waiting for an uprising of audio patriots. Throw away the flashy chrome plated heatsinks and end caps, and spend that money on the Domestic internals to insure quality sound and reliability. Remember the term "bulletproof"? It really meant "idiotproof". Remember when return rates were under 3%?

Re: Please allow me to introduce myself.

First of all, let me apologize for posting in this thread without proper introduction. :you-fool-038: I am Rainmanspl(all my friends and fellow competitors call me Rainman). I have been installing mobile electronics for more than 20 years. I'm a former(actually just taking a break) competitor and have a championship in the resume. I enjoy helping others and if needed will speek personally to advise them (or just BS). I compete in SPL, but can be very particular about sound quality on a daily basis. I restore antique vehicles for a living and have been certified as an automotive technician(automotive electrical and electronic systems/electronic diagnostics). I am a "from the ground up" automotive person.

But please, DON'T ASK ME ABOUT COMPUTERS!:confused-8:

My name is Kevin. As you can tell I have a daughter, she's 5, and I now have a son, he's 18 months. I'm more of an enthusiast than a professional competitor. I have loads of product knowledge, with a little install to back it up.

Kingfish,

My first experience with a Bazooka tube was in the mid 80's. 1984-5 I beleive. I was hanging out at Jimmy's Car Stereo in Auburn, AL. I can't recall who it was but, someone from Bazooka brought a pair of tubes (from the back of a pickup truck) into the shop for everyone to have a look. Needless to say, I've been a loyal customer since.

Thanks for keeping a great product out there as well as introducing new ones along the way.

Troy

1984/85....well then, that would have been me! :ok-wink:

Just would have had a little less fat and more hair back then. :lol-049:

Thank you for your loyalty. Even today, I am still amazed at how well those little tubes work when used correctly. That is all I use in my truck.
