Wiring Passive tube to Amplified tube?
Hey guys,,,
i installed an amplified 8 inch tube and a 8 inch passive together a long time ago.. I notice the EL8A does not seem to have the provision to hook a passive EL808 to it anywhere??? is this a thing of the past??? I did this install probably 16-18 years ago, and can't remember exactly how i did it.. PLEASE HELP |
Yes that is a thing of the past.

hmmm...... that sucks... cause my system really pounded with both tubes connected together. I also remember a 6 inch tube that was extra long and was actually two tubes built together.. ahhh the good ol' days
I have 2 amplified tubes now,, so i guess i have to hook both up seperate?? that seems alot more difficult than hooking up a master,, then a slave to it.. i like the hi level inputs if i recall correctly,, and how do i make the connections??? splice power and output from car stereo,,, or just splice power, and i have to use 2 seperate outputs from my deck??? |
use the rear speakers from the radio. run the red power lead to the batt. and the remote wire to the radio then a good ground.
